Trio from Hillfields arrested on suspicion of burglary

standard policePolice have arrested three men on suspicion of burglary following a break-in at a house in East Bristol.

The burglary, at an address in Beechen Drive, Hillfields, took place on 27th January when goods including an iPad, jewellery, a watch and camera equipment were stolen.

Intelligence led police to make the arrests on Saturday 8th February at another address in Hillfields, after CCTV at a shop in Broadmead showed a suspect trying to sell the stolen camera equipment.

Two 18-year-old men and one 21-year-old man, all from Hillfields, have been bailed until 7th March whilst investigations continue.

Investigating officer Shaun Screen, from Bristol’s Priority Crime Team, said: “These arrests show that we are committed to relentlessly hunting down burglars and bringing them to justice, but we need the help of the local community to solve crimes.
