Drivers and bus users are being warned of delays in the St George and Redfield area because of a week of resurfacing works.
On Monday 12th May Avonvale Road will be closed and there will be two-way temporary signals on Church Road (by Avonvale Road). Service 36 will not be affected.
From Tuesday 13th May to Friday 16th May Chalks Road and Blackswarth Road will be closed with two-way temporary signals on Church Road by the Fire Engine pub.
On Monday 19th May Avonvale Road will be closed and there will be two-way temporary signals on Church Road by Avonvale Road. Again Service 36 will not be affected. All works will be off peak from 9.30am to 3.30pm.
There may be delays to services 37, 42, 43, 44 and 45 and people are urged to allow extra time for their journeys. Services 6, 7 & 36 may also be affected by increased congestion on their routes due to diverting traffic.
