Fundraising events are taking place across our area tomorrow for the BBC’s annual Children in Need appeal.
There is a big charity read event for at the Kings Oak Academy in Kingswood and schools including Wellsway and Broadlands in Keynsham are having non-uniform days, with each student donating £1 to the cause.
And at Fishponds Church of England Academy children will be wearing spotty accessories with their uniform in exchange for a donation of £1 or more to the charity.
Snapdragons nursery at Ellsbridge House in Keynsham has already held a Cookie and Cocoa day and a cake sale this week in aid of the charity and tomorrow is staging Fancy Dress Friday when youngsters will be wearing something wacky in exchange for a 50p donation.
Children in Need will be on BBC One tomorrow from 7pm.
