Police were called out to a house in Longwell Green this week after complaints from local people about a strong smell of cannabis and people coming and going at all hours.
Officers recovered what they believe to be cannabis from the house on Tuesday and a 32-year-old man was arrested and released on police bail, pending a court hearing in the New Year. He has been charged with producing a Class B Drug.
Neighbourhood PC Phil Busvine, one of the officers who attended the raid, said today: “We’re always keen to hear from local people about crime and anti-social behaviour in their community.
