A new charity shop has opened in Kingswood town centre and is appealing for volunteers to come on board.

The manager of the new PDSA store in Regent Street is Rachel Gould, who has moved over from the charity’s Staple Hill shop.

The charity cares for the pets of people in need and has opened in the old Quality Carpets unit, a few doors down from the British Heart Foundation shop.

The PDSA sells a wide range of high quality clean donated clothes at reasonable prices as well as homeware and seasonal gifts, including Christmas cards.

Call in and ask to speak to Rachel if you have some spare time to help out in the shop. Donations of items to sell are also welcomed although the store can not accept electrical goods.
