A man from St George who was arrested and charged yesterday after a drugs raid has been remanded in custody.
Derek Grant, 43, of St Aidan’s Road, was arrested following a warrant at an address in Easton where £15,000 worth of crack cocaine was found.
He has been charged with possession with intent to supply class A drugs and will appear at Bristol Crown Court at the end of June.
PC Andy May, from Bristol’s dedicated drugs and firearms team, Operation Beacon, said: “Within less than 20 hours, Grant has gone from being out on Bristol’s streets to standing in court.
“It’s a brilliant example of our determination to act on the intelligence gathered and get alleged drug dealers off our streets.”
