Six men charged with murder following Brislington incident

Six men have today been charged with the murder of 32-year-old Aranit Lleshi who died following an incident in Brislington on Tuesday 24th May.

The charges are the result of an investigation by Avon & Somerset Police’s Major Crime Investigation Team (MCIT).

The men have been charged with murder and will appear before Bristol Magistrates’ Court tomorrow.

They are;

  • Brikel Palaj, 32, of Heavitree Road, London.
  • Kastriot Mhillaj, 34, of no fixed address.
  • Rinush Behari, 32, of Bunton Street, London.
  • Radian Lika, 35, of Watkinson Road, Islington, London.
  • Nikola Palaj, 28, of Heavitree Road, London.

A sixth man, Sadik Lleshi, 34, of Culvert Road, Tottenham, London, will appear before the court the following on Friday on the same charge.

The six men have previously appeared in court charged with violent disorder.

A post-mortem examination concluded Aranit Lleshi, from London, died as a result of multiple stab wounds.

Five other people have been arrested on suspicion of assisting an offender. Two of those are on bail, two have been released under investigation and one is in police cells for questioning.
