Hundreds of fans of Douglas motorbikes turned out today to see the annual rally and cavalcade celebrating the iconic Kingswood marque.
The world-famous motorcycles were built in Kingswood from 1907 to 1957 and there is a permanent exhibition at Kingswood Heritage Museum.
Owners of vintage Douglas motorcycles gathered outside the museum in Tower Lane in Warmley before setting off at noon to ride the old factory test route.
Bill Douglas, the great-grandson of the firm’s founder, pictured above left, was there to wave them off along with the newly-elected chair of South Gloucestershire Council Cllr Sanjay Shambhu, right.
