Police are appealing for witnesses after a woman walking with her children was racially abused on the Bristol & Bath Railway Path at Fishponds.
The victim was walking on Monday between 4.15pm and 4.45pm when a man started to shout racially abusive comments towards her.
The abuse continued for about 20 minutes, before the suspect exited the cycle track at Hockeys Lane and went towards Fishponds Road.
He is described as white, in his 50s, approximately 5ft 2in and of medium build. He was wearing a hat and a grey hooded top. He also had tattoos on his left arm.
