Two men remain in custody today for questioning in connection with the murder of Mohammed Abdurezek as detectives revealed they are searching a property in Fishponds.

The men, aged 42 and 22, have been arrested on suspicion of murdering the 31-year-old, whose body was found by a dog walker in undergrowth off Gibbs Lane, Siston, on Christmas Eve.

A third man, aged 22, also arrested on suspicion of murder, has been released on bail until 15th February.

Search teams are working at a property in Craftes Court on Brook Road, Fishponds. Since last Friday police have been searching at St George’s House in Church Drive, St George, and today they said they were also searching a property in Craftes Court on Brook Road, both of which they believe are significant to their inquiry.

A car has also been seized and is undergoing a full forensic examination.

If anyone has information about Mohammed’s death or information about suspicious activity around the properties between Tuesday 6th December and Sunday 11th December, they are asked to come forward.
