Stockwood Hill closure announced

Bath and North East Somerset Council has announced that it will be introducing a road closure on the entire length of Stockwood Hill in Keynsham from Monday 7th September which could last up to a month.

The closure is for drainage improvement works and resurfacing. The council says the road will only be restricted as and when traffic signs are in position and may not be affected for the whole of the period.

The advertised alternative route will be Stockwood Lane (Keynsham), Stockwood Lane (Whitchurch), Staunton Lane (Whitchurch), A37 Bristol Road (Whitchurch), Queen Charlton Lane (Queen Charlton), Woollard Lane (Whitchurch), Woollard Lane (Publow), Charlton Road (Queen Charlton), Charlton Road (Keynsham), B3116 High Street (Keynsham), A4175 High Street (Keynsham), A4175 Bristol Road (Keynsham), Old Bristol Road (Keynsham), and vice versa.
