More than 50 calls were received by Avon Fire & Rescue Service’s control room to report Saturday’s fire at the scrap yard in Tower Road South in Warmley.
Fire investigators believe the blaze in a building filled with scrap vehicles was started deliberately.
Four firefighters in breathing apparatus extinguished the blaze and also cooled a number of cylinders containing acetylene.
