A primary school in Kingswood reopened today after a Norovirus-type sickness bug closed it for two days last week.
Two Mile Hill Primary School on the Kingsway closed at lunchtime last Thursday and remained closed on Friday to limit the spread of infection. It is understood that around 90 children developed symptoms.
The school underwent a thorough deep clean by Bristol City Council while it was closed.
In a letter to parents headteacher Jan McAll said: “We have been asked to remind parents that if further infection is to be avoided then all children need to wash their hands carefully as appropriate and otherwise be careful about their personal hygiene.”
