Police are seeking witnesses after two women were assaulted shortly after leaving a Fishponds pub.
The victims, aged 36 and 39, left the Portcullis in Fishponds Road at around 1.30am on Sunday 19th October.
They were part of a larger group of men and women who were walking towards the junction of Lodge Causeway.
They were followed by another woman and a man. The woman who was following the larger group then assaulted the two victims, leaving them with minor bruising and scratches.
One of the victims also had a glue-type substance squirted into her hair.
An Avon & Somerset police spokesman said today: “We believe around four or five men left the pub at the same time as the victims and may have witnessed this incident.
“A 35-year-old woman has been arrested in connection with the assault and she is on bail until the end of the month.”
