Man held up at knifepoint in Page Park in Staple Hill

Police have begun an investigation after a man walking through Page Park in Staple Hill was threatened with a knife.

At around 7.15pm on Monday 28th April three men approached the victim from inside the clock tower and one held up a knife and demanded money.

At this point a man walking a Doberman-type dog  approached them and the three men ran off towards the bandstand.

The victim has described the men as white and wearing hooded tops. Police are working to identify them and would  like to speak to the dog walker.
