Longwell Green branch of Caffè Nero to close down

The Caffè Nero branch at the Gallagher Shopping Park in Longwell Green is closing down on Tuesday.

A note has gone up at the coffee shop, which has been operating a takeaway service during lockdown, advising customers: “After just over five happy years here, this Caffè Nero is sadly having to close due to circumstances beyond our control.

“We have loved being here and would like to thank you for being wonderful customers – it has always been a privilege to serve you.

“Our last day of trading will be Tuesday 9th February.”

As we have previously reported, the retail park has also lost Outfit, one of its anchor stores. It is one of the branches of the troubled Arcadia Group which will not reopen after lockdown.
