Youths caught blocking Railway Path near Mangotsfield

A police officer on cycle patrol on the Bristol & Bath Railway Path near Mangotsfield came across a group of youths attempting to block it using rocks and a car tyre.

The officer was from the Staple Hill Neighbourhood Policing Team who said that two of the youths were located and are in the process of being dealt with through the Youth Offending and Anti-Social Behaviour teams.

The policing team said: “The path is a great place for the community to use and it’s important that we make this a safe environment for everyone.”

People are asked to report any incidents via 999 in an emergency or 101 for non-emergency.
