Plans to change the use of a house in Dragons Hill Close in Keynsham to a children’s care home have been lodged with Bath & North East Somerset Council.
The proposal for the property known as Shalom has been lodged by Kingswood-based Premier Care Management Limited. They are a provider of community and outreach services in the South West and are now seeking to open a children’s residential care home.
The two-storey house would be a home for up to four children aged between five and 18. There would likely be no more than four members of staff present at one time, and the children would attend local schools.
The proposal involves a change of use only, with no external works proposed .There is capacity for five cars to park at the site.
The consultation closes on 15th September and the planning reference is 23/02888/FUL.
