Majestic Gymnastics celebrated their move to what they call their “forever home” in Warmley on Saturday.
The leading club had to move as their rented premises in Longwell Green will be demolished as part of the planned redevelopment of the Kingswood Industrial Estate at Aldermoor Way.
South Gloucestershire Council worked with the club’s directors Michelle George and Candice Littleton to find them a new home.
The new facility is the first step in the delivery of a new sports hub at the campus of the old Grange School which closed in 2016.
The old school hall and gym have been totally refurbished and Majestic Gymnastics have a long lease. As well as the gymnasium and a jump pit, the building also includes new changing facilities, a café and flexible space for other activities.
The overall regeneration project of the wider site will also include housing.
