Police were called to Barrs Court after a truck veered off the road and hit a semi-detached house on Thursday.
They say were called at 4.45pm to Causley Drive after a report of a vehicle colliding with a property. There were no injuries.
It is understood that the driver of the vehicle, owned by gardening and landscaping company The Garden Saint, had swerved to avoid a cat.
The vehicle was still in the front garden this morning with police tape around it.
A structural assessment carried out by a South Gloucestershire Council building control surveyor found that the building is not considered to be at risk of collapse.
