There has been another fire at the industrial unit in Moravian Road in Kingswood where a huge cannabis factory was discovered on Christmas Eve.
Crews from Kingswood and Temple fire stations were called out yesterday at 12.20am to reports of a blaze involving a large amount of tyres and rubbish to the rear of the building.
With six firefighters wearing breathing apparatus, crews used two high pressure hose reels and one 45mm jet to extinguish the fire. They also used thermal imaging cameras to check for fire spread and gas monitors to ensure the scene was safe.
The cause of the fire is thought to have been deliberate.
It follows the blaze at the premises on 24th December when crews alerted the police to the discovery of approximately £1m of cannabis plants and drug paraphernalia.
The cause of that fire was not thought to be suspicious but the police appealed to the public for help in their investigation into who was behind the cannabis factory.
