Lloyds Pharmacy will be withdrawing its in-store services from all Sainsbury’s stores over the course of 2023, it emerged today.
Locally that includes the Emersons Green store – where The Week In can also confirm that there are plans to open a Greggs bakery.
A spokesperson for Greggs told us this week: “Greggs is due to open a new shop in the Sainsbury’s in Emersons Green later this year.
“While we are unable to share any details at the moment, we will be sure to share further information in the coming months.”
