A person has been pronounced dead after being pulled from the river in Keynsham Memorial Park.
Emergency services were called yesterday morning after a report of a person in the water.
Avon Fire & Rescue Service brought the person to the bank and they were pronounced dead at the scene by ambulance crews.
Police say the death is not being treated as suspicious.
River levels have been high following recent heavy rainfall. On Tuesday of last week Avon Fire & Rescue crews pulled an adult and a dog from the river after being called out to reports of people in difficulty in the water. One adult and two dogs had got out before the crews arrived and they rescued the remaining adult and dog using a reach pole and throw line.
