Avon & Somerset Police are investigating a “suspicious incident” in Kingswood in which a young girl was approached by a man last Friday.
A spokesperson said: “A man approached an 11-year-old girl at about 4.30pm on Lees Hill and asked if he could walk with her.
“Another man noticed the girl was upset and went over to her to make sure she was OK.
“The neighbourhood team has been made aware of the incident and anyone with information or concerns about it is asked to contact them via 101.”
