Mark Glover
A 45-year-old Kingswood man has been jailed for burglary and theft.
Mark Glover, of Maesbury, was sentenced to four years and eight months at Taunton Crown Court last Thursday. He admitted two counts of burglary, one of theft and three of driving while disqualified. The court further disqualified him from driving for five years.
Glover had travelled to a hotel in Frome on 14th May and again on 4th June this year. He entered guests’ rooms and stole their bags. He was caught on CCTV driving away both times. He was also caught on CCTV on 6th June committing theft at a golf club in Farrington Gurney.
Investigating officer PC Jim Card said: “There was a level of planning and sophistication to Glover’s criminal ways. He showed a disregard for the court and no remorse for the suffering of the victims who’s belongings were taken.
“I welcome this positive sentence and hope the victims of these burglaries and thefts are reassured that Glover is behind bars.”
