The toilet block in the car park at Ashton Way in Keynsham is closed because of vandalism, less than two weeks after reopening.
The block had been closed as part of cost-cutting in 2015 but reopened earlier this month to provide a disability-compliant facility with a 20p charge (Contactless card payments only).
There is a sign on the door today from Healthmatic, who provide and maintain public toilets on behalf of Bath & North East Somerset Council, saying: “These public toilers are closed until further notice. We are sorry for the inconvenience.”
B&NES Council has told us that the facility is closed because of vandalism and Healthmatic hope to have it reopened by the end of tomorrow.
