A 32-year-old man who died from injuries sustained in an incident in Brislington last Tuesday has been formally identified today.
Aranit Lleshi, from London, died while en route to hospital following an altercation with several other men in Bloomfield Road. A forensic post-mortem examination confirmed he died from multiple stab wounds.
His family are being supported by specialist family liaison officers.
The investigation into his death, which is being carried out by the Major Crime Investigation Team, is ongoing.
Two more people were due to appear before Bristol Magistrates’ Court today after being charged with violent disorder in connection with the incident. They are Radian Lika, 35, of Watkinson Road, Islington, London, and Nikola Palaj, 28, of Heavitree Road, London.
Four men appeared at Bristol Magistrates’ Court on Saturday after also being charged with violent disorder in connection with the incident. They were remanded in custody to next appear at Bristol Crown Court on Monday 27th June.
Two people remain on bail after being arrested on suspicion of assisting an offender.
