Police say that more than 25 people have got in touch providing a man’s name after their appeal for help identifying a man in a CCTV image following an incident on a bus between Staple Hill and Yate on 12th April in which a 15-year-old boy was assaulted.
A 37-year-old man has since voluntarily attended a police station for interview.
Police have today thanked all those who contacted them as well as everyone who helped by sharing the appeal.
They say inquiries into the incident are ongoing.
