A three-vehicle smash at the new throughabout at Wraxall Road at Warmley has caused chaos this morning.
Emergency crews have been at the scene where part of the new junction on the A4174 Ring Road has been partially blocked.
Two cars and a van were involved in the collision which happened around 9.15am. One of the car drivers had to be cut free by Avon Fire & Rescue Service and was taken to hospital.
Traffic has been queuing back to the Kingsfield Roundabout by Aspects Leisure Park and vehicles are unable to fully negotiate the throughabout which has been opened just over two weeks.
In this week’s issue – out today we feature the new throughabout in this week’s issue and highlight a safety report which revealed that it could take up to five years for motorists to get used to the junction.
