Firefighters dealt with a severe house fire in Kingswood yesterday which flashed over twice.
When crews arrived they found the property in Holly Green well alight with the fire on the ground floor spreading to the upper floor and heavy smoke-logging to the property and neighbouring homes.
Fortunately, no one was inside at the time and no one was hurt.
Six firefighters in breathing apparatus tackled and extinguish the blaze and the property was ventilated using a fan.
The house has been boarded up and an investigation into the cause of the fire is under way.
