Ben’s coffin is carried into St John’s Church
Hundreds of people packed into St John’s Church in Keynsham this morning for the funeral of Ben Pocock, the 20-year-old Keynsham student who died in the Malaysian MH17 air crash in July.
The funeral was being followed by a private family cremation service.
Ben, who was a pupil at St John’s Primary School and Wellsway School, was studying International Business at Loughborough University and had been on his way to Perth in Australia for a six-month placement as part of his studies when the plane was shot down near the Russia/Ukraine border, claiming the lives of total of 298 people.
