Government awards heritage grant to Willsbridge Mill to help it weather the impact of COVID-19

Willsbridge Mill Community Refresh has received £11,400 from the Culture Recovery Fund.

The latest round of Government grants to help cultural and heritage organisations weather the impact of coronavirus saw 70% awarded outside London.

For the last six years Willsbridge Mill Community Refresh (WMCR), has managed the South Gloucestershire Council-owned Grade II listed mill buildings, including the café, after taking over the lease from Avon Wildlife Trust, which still maintains the surrounding valley.

WMCR has welcomed the grant and the board will be meeting next week to discuss how it can be used.
