Foreign Secretary visit Red Cross depot at Warmley

philip hForeign Secretary Philip Hammond was in Warmley today, visiting the British Red Cross’s Emergency Response Unit Warehouse.

Kingswood MP Chris Skidmore invited Mr Hammond to the depot on the Caxton Business Park to find out more about its national and international work.

Mr Hammond was spending the day in the West Country, also stopping off at one of Bath’s biggest employers BMT Defence Services, and meeting with businesses at Hartham Park at Corsham.

At the Red Cross Mr Hammond was given a tour by John Cunningham, who manages the warehouse, and Coleen Cleevely, operations director for Wiltshire, Avon & Gloucestershire, pictured below.

hammond visitMr Hammond said he was also in Mr Skidmore’s constituency to show his support for the MP who will be defending his seat at May’s General Election and selling the message about what the Conservatives had delivered in Government and the platform for economic growth they had created.
