Five generations came together today to celebrate the 100th birthday of Keynsham great-great-grandmother Freda Brown.
Freda, of Hawthorns Lane, has two daughters, Gillian and Pauline, grandchildren Hayley, Simon and Stephen, great-grandchildren Kyle, Daniel, Aleisha, Chantelle, Liam and Fred, and great-grandson Theo.
Also among the guests at her party at the Old Manor House Hotel was her surviving sibling Joan, 87.
Before moving to Keynsham about 25 years ago, Taunton-born Freda lived in Downend and Staple Hill.
Her husband, who worked on Concorde, died when he was in his mid-50s and she has never remarried.
Young at heart Freda attended keep fit classes until she was in her early 90s. For her 80th birthday she took a Champagne flight on Concorde over the Bay of Biscay and for her 90th went on holiday to Benidorm.
When she was younger she loved ballroom dancing and she is big fan of TV shows Strictly Come Dancing and Dancing on Ice.
