Eight firefighters tackled a blaze in Publow Lane at Woollard.
Crews from Keynsham, Kingswood, Brislington, Chew Magna and Bedminster were called out to the fire which had broken out in a single-storey building being used for storage.
Wearing breathing apparatus they used water jets and hose reels to bring the fire under control. It caused extensive damage to the 25m x 10m building.
Avon Fire & Rescue Service says Thursday’s fire was started accidentally.
