Police are appealing to drivers working in the haulage industry to help with their ongoing investigation into the fatal collision on the A4 at Keynsham last week.
Drivers are being asked to check any footage recorded on cameras fitted to the front of the vehicles if they were travelling on the Keynsham bypass at about 10.45am on Thursday 30th April.
The collision involved a motorcyclist and a tractor which was towing a trailer. The 48-year-old motorcyclist sustained serious injuries and was treated at the scene but he died shortly afterwards.
Investigating officer PC Sharon Little, from the force’s collision investigation unit, said: “Any footage which shows the collision, the vehicles involved, or just before the collision happened, would be invaluable to our investigation.”
If you are able to assist, you are asked to contact the collision investigation unit on the force number 101, quoting reference CI-93/15.
