Police are appealing for
help in identifying a man in CCTV images which they have released following a robbery in Downend yesterday.
The incident happened about 4.15pm at First Choice travel agents on Downend Road.
A man walked into the shop and threatened staff before making off with a quantity of cash.
A police spokesman said: “The man we want to identify is described as white, about 5ft 10in and aged in his 30s, with dark eyes.
“He spoke with an Eastern European accent and wore a striped scarf around his face.”
