Police last night made an arrest related to recent reports of a male harassing women on the Bristol & Bath Railway Path.
There have been mounting concerns over the number of crimes including sexual assault and intimidation being carried out on the route, including in the Mangotsfield and Staple Hill area.
Officers from the South Gloucestershire Neighbourhood Policing Team and Operation Remedy say they have been relentlessly focused on making the path safe.
