Police investigating an attack on a girl in Keynsham by five people have this week appealed to a woman who may have seen what happened to come forward.
In a statement they said: “We’re appealing for a key witness to come forward following an assault on a 14-year-old girl in Keynsham.
“The assault, which is under investigation, happened in St Clements Road, between 2.30pm and 2.45pm on Sunday 19th September. The victim, who suffered a head injury, was attacked by a group of five other young people, including two boys on electric scooters.
“While giving her official statement, the victim mentioned that a woman with a small child may have witnessed or walked past the incident while it was happening – and we would very much like to identify this witness.
“If this was you, or if you witnessed any part of this incident, please call us on 101 and give the call handler the reference number 5221218273.”
