A number of suspected cannabis plants were found and seized by police at a property in Badminton Road, Downend, on Monday evening.
They say that Western Power were called to the address to make sure the area was safe.
A 22-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of being concerned in the production of a class B drug. He has been released under investigation.
