Man stabbed in Speedwell

Police are appealing for witnesses to a GBH which happened in Speedwell yesterday.

A man aged in his 30s suffered a non-life threatening stab wound during an incident in Meadow Vale Park at around 5.10pm. He is currently receiving treatment in hospital.

A 15-year-old boy has been arrested and is currently assisting police with their inquiries.

Neighbourhood officers will be patrolling the area to provide reassurance and anyone with any concerns is encouraged to talk to them.
