A 43-year-old man left in a serious condition following an incident in Lyde Green, Bristol, has died in hospital.
Craig Wiltshire, from South Gloucestershire, was taken to hospital following an incident in Willowherb Road in the early hours of Wednesday 20th November, but sadly died in the early hours of 4th December. A forensic post-mortem examination is due to be carried out later this week . Avon and Somerset Police have assigned a specially trained liaison officer to provide support to Mr Wiltshire’s family while the investigation continues.
Officers were called to Willowherb Road during the early hours of 20th November to a report of a man having been detained by members of the public after allegedly trying to break into cars.
Three men, aged 25, 35 and 49, were arrested on suspicion of causing grievous bodily harm and later released under investigation.
