The 29-year-old was grabbed by a man on the stretch of footpath between Robertson Drive and Pilgrims Wharf on Thursday 22nd January. She managed to fight him off.
A man was arrested on Saturday on suspicion of sexual assault and released on bail until 20th March so further inquiries can take place.
Police have been carrying out house-to-house inquiries and reviewing CCTV in the local area.
The man who carried out the attack, which happened between 9.15am and 9.30am, is described as white, 6ft, around 40 and of average build, with a week’s worth of grey stubble. He was wearing a grey beanie hat, dark hooded top and blue jeans and it is believed he had a local accent.
