Struggling fashion retailer New Look has identified 60 stores that will shut, including the ones in Keynsham and Kingswood as part of a rescue plan to repay debts, it has been announced today.
Up to 1,000 jobs could be affected, with New Look reportedly saying that all efforts will be made to redeploy staff where possible.
The firm is seeking creditor approval on a Company Voluntary Arrangement (CVA) proposal, which is due on 21st March. All UK stores will remain open as normal during this period.
Advisers from Deloitte are handling the restructuring plan.
