Car found burnt out after collision with a pedestrian in Keynsham

Police are appealing for witnesses following a fail-to-stop collision in Keynsham last night.

The incident happened at about 6.30pm when a car was in collision with a pedestrian who was walking in the direction of Charlton Road from Charlton Park.

The victim was taken to hospital, where he remains in a serious but stable condition today.

A car – believed to have been involved in the incident – was later found burnt out in a field near Kelston.

Police inquiries into the incident are continuing. Anyone who was in the area at the time of the incident who may have information is asked to contact the police on 101, quoting reference 5219123507.
