Appeal for witnesses after man is robbed in Hanham

Police are appealing for information after a 24-year-old man was robbed shortly after getting off a bus in Hanham in the early hours of Sunday.

The victim got off the No 44 bus in Whittucks Road at about 2.50am and was followed into Rogers Court by a group of men, who threatened him with a knife and robbed him of his mobile phone and wallet.

Police believe there were at least three offenders. The first is described as aged 20 to 22, 6ft 2in, of average build, with short brown hair and facial stubble. He was wearing a green padded jacket with fur around the hood. The second was the same age, 5ft 10in, of average build, with short brown hair and clean shaven. He was wearing a grey padded jacket. The third was a white male but no further description is known.
